Raymond Rion, M.D., Executive Director and Medical Director
Dr. Rion is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed his residency at Brown University. After practicing at a federally funded health center in Alpena, MI and at the University of Michigan Health System, Dr. Rion joined Packard Health in 2003, and has served as its Medical Director since 2007. He was appointed Acting Executive Director in August 2012, and as Executive Director in November 2012. While at Packard Health, Dr. Rion has served on the Executive Committee of the Washtenaw County Medical Society, and on the Board of the Huron Valley Physicians Association.
Clinical Support Staff
A skilled group of registered nurses, medical assistants and case managers provide care during patient visits, through telephone and face-to-face consultation, and through targeted education and support programs.
Patient Advocates
For some of our patients, the road to optimal health presents issues that cannot be resolved by medical care alone. Our patient advocates provide patients in need with access to a variety of community resources to address some of these issues. They offer assistance with enrollment in public health plans and drug assistance programs, access to wholesome nutrition through our food pantries and facilitated access to other community services.
Administrative Support Staff
An experienced team of administrative and clerical support staff provide a wide range of patient and business services. These include appointment scheduling, reception services, referrals, access to medical records, billing, bookkeeping, and technical support.
